Kimberly currently holds the position of “Manager” for the Laotian American Society Beginner Dance Program within the Cultural Department. Prior to her current role, she was originally a college volunteer for the 2012 LAS Gala, and from 2015-2016 she served on the Executive Board as Secretary. She is an active volunteer within the Laotian community in Habersham County and has various roles, such as Nang Songkhan Coordinator (Lao New Year Pageant) for Wat Lao Buddha Sattha Dhamma for the past 8 years. She is also the co-founder and current manager of the advanced Laotian dance program, Souliya Natasinh, which comprises of Laotian members from all over Northeast Georgia. Kimberly holds an Associates of Science degree from the University of North Georgia and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Kennesaw State University. She believes culture defines and without recognizing it, one is without an identity and plans to continue guiding the youth to Laotian cultural preservation.
